Sunlight caught in stone. These polished Yellow Fluorite flames glow like lemon glass. Piece A is a pale, buttery yellow with a soft green cast and wispy veils drifting through it. Piece B is the candy stripe: bold ribbons of golden yellow and honey orange running from base to tip, with a faint lilac band along one edge.

Fluorite is the stone for when your thoughts are scattered across forty open tabs. Nicknamed the “genius stone,” it’s prized for bringing order to chaos: organizing information, sharpening concentration and helping you make a decision and stick with it, which makes it a favorite for students, writers and anyone facing a deadline. It’s also an energetic filter, traditionally used to cleanse the aura, absorb the stress in a room and guard against psychic manipulation, so it’s worth clearing often. On the mystical side, it links the mind with the higher self, turning flashes of intuition into clear, practical insight. Its name comes from the Latin fluere, “to flow,” because it was once used to help metals melt in smelting, and it lent its name to fluorescence, the glow many pieces show under UV light.
