Walnut Jasper Tumble Stone

Grounding · Stability · Calm · Nurturing · Resilience

Receive one Walnut Jasper tumble stone per order. Each tumble is unique and will vary in pattern and shade. Photos show the tumbles in both indoor light and natural sunlight.

These Walnut Jasper tumbles are smooth, swirled with warm bands of caramel, honey and deep walnut brown, with creamy tan lines running through them like the rings of a tree.

Approx. 1" long.

Walnut Jasper takes its name from its uncanny resemblance to polished walnut wood, but every line is pure stone. Like all jasper, it is a dense, opaque form of quartz, and its wood-grain bands formed slowly as iron-rich minerals settled in layer after layer, each one recording a moment in the earth's long history. The name jasper itself traces back to the ancient Greek iaspis, and jaspers have been carved into amulets and seals for thousands of years.

Fittingly for a stone that looks like an old tree, Walnut Jasper is said to carry deeply rooted, nurturing energy, bringing patience, steadiness and a calm sense of belonging during busy or uncertain times. Tuck one in a pocket, add it to a crystal grid, or keep a few in a dish by the door as a little reminder to slow down and stay grounded.
