A storm cloud on the outside, a snowfall within. This Calcite geode has a moody slate-gray rind and has been split and set into a hinged gold-tone wire frame. Open the lid and both halves glitter with white, clear and smoky gray druzy crystals. The lid closes neatly onto the base, and four curved wire legs lift it off the surface like a little jeweled cauldron.
