Storm clouds with silver lining. These Larvikite palms are thin, flat ovals of charcoal and slate grey, speckled with black and scattered with crystals that flash silvery blue as they turn. Slim enough to slip into a pocket, a journal or a card case.

Larvikite is the stone for when your mind feels like a browser with too many tabs open. It’s known for clearing away unnecessary thoughts and old mental programming, calming the nerves and sharpening concentration, so complex facts click into place and you can think in a straight line again. A grounding stone, it reconnects you with the earth and helps you adapt when plans change without warning. On the mystical side, it’s prized for psychic protection, deflecting negative energy and unwanted influence, and for opening inner vision, intuition and even past-life recall. Its flashes of blue and silver come from feldspar crystals catching the light, a close cousin of labradorite’s play of color. Larvikite takes its name from the town of Larvik in southern Norway, where it has been quarried for well over a century and polished into building facades around the world.
