A pocket-sized black mirror. These flat Black Obsidian palm stones are polished to a high, glassy shine, smooth and oval with a slim profile that sits easily in the hand or a pocket. Look closely and the surface reflects the room back at you, just like the scrying mirrors obsidian has been shaped into for centuries.

Black Obsidian is one of the most powerful protection stones, forming a shield against negativity and absorbing heavy energy from the people and places around you. It’s a favorite for sensitive souls who leave a crowded room carrying everyone else’s mood. Its deeper gift is truth. It works fast and honestly, like a mirror that brings the shadow self to the surface so it can be seen and released, along with old patterns, old loves and stories you’ve outgrown. Technically a volcanic glass, formed when lava cools too quickly to crystallize, obsidian has been polished into scrying mirrors for centuries. The Aztecs made them for divination, and one later belonged to John Dee, astrologer to Queen Elizabeth I. His mirror now sits in the British Museum.
