Receive the exact Carnelian palm stone pictured, approx. 2.25" long.

Rings of fire around a hidden pool. This smooth Carnelian palm is a rounded oval of deep rust and tangerine, wrapped in bands of orange, slate gray and cream that circle a pale, clear eye at its center, like the rings of a tree.

Carnelian reminds us that the physical body is our spirit’s earthly temple, worth keeping healthy and thriving as best we can. It’s perfect for days when your get-up-and-go got up and went. It’s prized for restoring vitality, motivation and a genuine zest for life, and it’s a favorite of artists, performers and anyone starting something that takes nerve: the pitch, the audition, the first page. It builds courage and personal power while cooling anger, and helps you trust your own perceptions and act in the present instead of replaying old stories. Traditionally a protective stone, it guards against envy and resentment, and kept near the front door it’s said to invite protection and abundance into the home. The ancient Egyptians set carnelian in amulets to protect the dead on their journey to the afterlife. Katharine, our founder, keeps a piece in her car.
